David and Tracy started ministering to marriages for more than 10 years before formally starting VowsToKeep Ministries in 2011 as a response to God’s calling on their lives. They are passionate about bringing the truth of God’s Word to today’s marriages. David and Tracy do this through many means, including their weekly 30 minute radio broadcast – VowsToKeep Radio, Biblical marriage counseling (Intensive Discipleship – ACBC), numerous marriage conferences, and speaking at men’s and women’s groups and retreats. Seeing couples’ hearts turn toward Christ and each other is their greatest joy.

Bill & janet

Counselors
They have long- served their church family, Bill as elder and Janet as women’s Bible teacher at Grace Brethren Church where they reside in Marysville, Ohio. For many years they have served to disciple and counsel those seeking to understand the truth of God’s word, but they specifically have an abiding passion to see Biblically strong marriages and families in today’s culture.

This passion comes from personally experiencing the hope and truth of God’s word which restored their own lives and broken marriage. They have been blessed to see their entire family come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord. For this reason and purpose, God has called them to join the VowsToKeep ministry in this season of their lives.
​
In addition to years of direct counseling experience, Janet and Bill are pursuing training and certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Life skills teaching and coaching are passions for the Howards across an array of different subjects.
​
As a couple they have many other gifts that contribute to VowsToKeep ranging from advertising/marketing to banquet/ special-event coordinating and catering.
Ben
Beaghan
Board Member
Ben Beaghan grew up in Metro-Detroit and attended Oakland University where he received his undergraduate degree in environmental science.
He and his wife, Kenzie, met while serving at Bair Lake Bible Camp and were married in 2012. Ben worked at Bair Lake Bible Camp as the Program Specialist and Discipleship Manager before moving to Ohio to serve at Redemption Bible Church in January of 2020.
Ben has a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and leads the counseling program at Redemption Bible Church.
Sheila

Prayer Team Coordinator
Sheila has been married to her husband, Jeff, for nearly 29 years, and together they are blessed with an amazing teenager.
​
Sheila’s career has had her working in the legal field for almost 30 years as a paralegal, but if she could say her full-time job was a professional prayer warrior she would be happy. Her hobbies include writing poetry and short stories, singing at her church, volunteering at her local pregnancy center, christian school, church, and in statewide and local communities in mentoring and bible studies, senior, teen, and women’s ministries.

Sheila has a heart for seeing marriages thrive, families be firmly rooted and grounded in the solid foundation of God’s word, and for women to have victory in their relationships, especially with their Loving and Faithful Creator God.
Sheila has always been a “people person” and is happiest when she can be connecting with others, and she feels God’s call on her life for counseling women. She is currently pursuing certification through the Association for Certified Biblical Counselors. She has a passion for prayer and mentoring and an even stronger desire to point all people to the greatest hope they could ever know in Jesus Christ.
Taylor Hatfield
Communications Coordinator
Taylor serves as the Communications Coordinator. She is a wife, a homeschooling mom of five wonderful children, an active member of her church, and deeply involved in children’s ministry.
Her faith in Jesus Christ and her belief in the Bible as God’s Word guide every area of her life. She is passionate about strengthening families, encouraging parents, and helping share messages that point people toward Christ.
She looks forward to using her gifts and experience to communicate clearly, build connections, and support the mission of serving families and advancing God’s kingdom.
