Bethany Smucker enjoys being the wife to her loving and devoted husband Chris, mama to 4 beautifully rambunctious children ages 3-9, and teacher of music to awesome elementary students; it’s a blessed life in her neck of the woods. She has a deep love and appreciation for God’s Word, and desires to share how the truth within it transforms hearts, minds, marriages, and lives. Bethany’s favorite way to talk to the Lord is through journaling and poetry. Since she was 7 years old, just learning to string two sentences together, Bethany has poured her heart into written words. She finds writing to be her most freeing and effective means of communication, and prays God will use it to glorify Him and bless others. When she’s not teaching music or blogging for Vows to Keep, you can find her running (after her kids, or through the country on her morning run), spending precious time with her family, sipping coffee with sweet friends, obnoxiously singing (or rapping) with some of her favorite musicians, journaling, doing BeachBody workouts in her family room, or trying to make Mount Smucker (the enormous, never-dwindling pile of laundry) shrink.
